Sustainability
As a mountain lover and trail runner, I believe in respecting the planet in every way possible. It sometimes takes a mental shift, and it often means going out of our way or comfort zone, but knowing that I’m reducing my footprint in the world is the best feeling ever - and I hope to lead by example.

If this resonates with you but you don’t know where to start, here are some ways to live a greener life:
-
Bike whenever possible
-
Avoid plastic and excess packaging
-
Reduce or cut down on your meat intake
-
Use air conditioning and heating only when necessary and at reasonable temperatures (if your home is colder in the summer than in the winter - yes, it happens all the time around here - that’s not okay).
-
Consider making your own skincare products
-
Avoid buying new things whenever you can. Even for sports or hiking gear, I always check for second-hand items first, and when I can’t avoid buying new, I try to choose environmentally friendly companies.
-
Support small, local businesses whenever possible!

I like to think there’s so much more to this world than just me and my little bubble - I need to think and act on a larger scale, with the bigger picture in mind, because I care about this planet that is my home, and the home of generations to come.
